He has provided in-house training sessions and served as a consultant on social media use policies, claims investigation standards, and avoiding bad faith and marketing risks. His experience also includes working with social media public relations firms, in both the United States and the United Kingdom, that specialize in reputational enhancement and product placement through social media. Dan has authored several articles on social media that have been published internationally and is a frequent speaker on social media all over the world. He currently serves as chair of the Defense Research Institute’s Social Media Task Force and has authored its social media guidelines and strategic plan. John J. Jablonski is a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s New York and Buffalo offices, where he serves as chair of the firm’s E-Discovery Practice Group and co-chair of its Cyber Risk and Social Media Practice Group. Mr. Jablonski holds leadership roles in a number of national organizations in these areas, including the chair of the Defense Research Institute’s E-Discovery Committee and Program Chair of DRI’s Data Breach and Privacy Law Seminar. He is a frequent presenter and author on data security, data breach litigation, electronic discovery, electronic evidence investigation and preservation, best practices for data security, privacy and preservation. In 2013, Mr. Jablonski received the Alfred W. Cortese, Jr. Award from Lawyers for Civil Justice in recognition for his expertise in electronic discovery.

Soo-young Chang is an experienced trial attorney and a member of Goldberg Segalla’s Cyber Risk and Social Media Practice Group. Starting as a prosecutor in Brooklyn, he later joined a Manhattan law firm and defended major hospitals and the City of New York from high-exposure medical malpractice cases. In 2006, Soo-young joined Goldberg Segalla, where he focuses his practice in the areas of product liability and high-stakes litigation. He has represented large companies, airlines, municipalities, school districts, and real estate developers, among others, in various litigation and has obtained numerous jury verdicts on cases involving multi-million dollar potential verdicts. Soo-young has authored articles on data breaches and guidelines on wireless devices for a number of noted industry publications, including Medical Device + Diagnostic Industry and Law Technology News. In addition, he has presented on issues related to data security risk at the New York State Cyber Security Conference.
